Accessibility To The Garden To reach actual site of Brindavan Gardens, visitors need to walk about 1.5km from the main gateway of the park. The Musical fountains have spectacular harmony of water, colors and music. The main charm in the garden is its “Dancing Fountain” where fountains dance on the tunes of music and makes magnificent color patterns. In Dec 2004 the entire garden was amended with new fountains and lights. Brindavan Gardens in Mysore is a terrace garden that is laid out behind the Krishnaraja Sagar dam. In 2007, the gardens were closed for a brief duration as a safety measure to avoid trouble related to the Cauvery water dispute.

Located in the Krishnaraja Sagar dam site in Srirangapatna taluk of Mandya district, the Brindavan Gardens is at a distance of 24 Km from Mysore, and 143 Km. Alternatively, you could set out in the morning, stop for lunch at Mysore, do some sightseeing in the city and then head to Brindavan Gardens.
