Alternatively, you could set out in the morning, stop for lunch at Mysore, do some sightseeing in the city and then head to Brindavan Gardens. There is also a lake within the garden with boating facilities available for visitors. Adjacent to the gardens is a sprawling fruit orchard spread across 75 acres. Yesterday, I visited Brindavan Gardens at KRS along with a family member and a friend. Boating can also be enjoyed in the pond situated in the middle of the garden. The white heritage building now converted to a 5 star hotel run by Orchid group of hotels adds to the beauty of the gardens.
